How are your dogs coping? Jasper has barked at every visible rocket (neighbour's garden) so far, but I suspect the real test will be the huge display a few streets over.

Glad Fish is okay. Mine were fine. Most of our street has no gardens so there were none going off in the immediate vicinity.

DH waited in until they started going off to judge their reactions and then took the dc out to the local display. I called home from work on my break to check all was still fine.

With the windows and doors shut and itunes blasting out of the PC you couldn't hear the fireworks.

My sister's lurcher was traumatised. They had to cancel their night out and stay with him, but he had a very bad experience on Thursday night with a banger going on unexpectedly during his walk. He was lost for five hours and hasn't wanted to go out since Sad. My mum said the other two were anxious but not too bad.

Thankfully it seems to be all over now and the Paws is fast asleep. Earlier he was too frightened to go out and pooed in the breakfast room. He did lots of barking and we put X-factor on extra loud and gave him lots of cuddles, poor boy.
