ralph loves people to the point of distraction. in his mind if it walks on two legs he must go and say hello.

over the last few months we have taking him to slightly crowded areas. all going well

today we walked to the big tesco in the next town. dh and the kids went to the do the shopping and i waited outside with ralph.

apart from a bit of excited tail wagging if someone sat next to him, he did really well. no jumping, no licking.

and when a lady asked if she could stroke him, he gave her his paw and sat nicely.

progress!!

Bill Smile well done Ralph, and well done you on training!

Any tips as to how to get our 6mo old to the same point of perfection, please? BlushGrin

haha at 6months we had no chance of ralph doing any of this. he is now 18months old. lots of praise when he does it right, and just keep reinforcing things.
