Moving house woes ...

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago about my sister and her planning to keep her Beagle puppy in the garage now they've moved house. The good news is, they've seen their senses and pup now has his crate in the conservatory :) The bad news is pup seems to have taken very badly to the move. He's peeing in the lounge, refusing to empty bladder or bowel in the garden and has taken to howling and barking late at night and v early in the morning. He's 7 months old and fully intact IYSWIM. Any tips? Its causing great stress for all involved I think ...
