We have finally taken the plunge and are getting ourselves a puppy. I lost my 16 year old lurcher in March and finally feel it is the right time for another dog.

So we have choosen a gorgeous lurcher boy (greyhound / deerhound) with a little bit of collie, he is gorgeous and i know we are going to have so much fun with him. But we are struggling to come up with a name for him.

He is black and white, but is going to have a rough coat and be a scruffy boy. My little girl is coming up with Iggle Piggle etc lol.

I want something a bit different maybe something to do with his lurcher roots.

Any suggestions ?

(Just thinking of names that you could shout across a park. Iggle Piggle doesn't quite cut it does it ?) Grin

BTW Dave is the best name ever for a dog.

I thought about calling my springer Keith (after Keith Moon the Loon), had him less than a week and so far think it would have been quite apt
