someone on a buying/selling group I belong to on FB is trying to sell her rottweiler. I have posted saying that might not be a great idea, but I wondered if you would be able to recommend a rescue place that might be able to take him?
we're in west sussex....

My first thought would be Allsorts in the Brighton area. A bit further away, in Kent, is New Hope Rescue, which like Allsorts is all-breed. The latter's owner is one of my rescue contacts, he's a lovely young fella and will happily advise further even if he can't help himself. Foal Farm is also in Kent, been going many years and although I don't know them personally I can say that their rehoming procedure is very good.

she said she'd tried a couple of rescues but neither would take him as she didn't have a good enough reason for wanting to have him re-homed?!
