Scrambled egg as a 'light meal' when convalescing - how many eggs ? I think I overdid it the other day !

Our lab came back from an op on Tuesday - advised to give her light meal - decided on scrambled egg -think I may have overdone the amount of eggs - her wind was 'foul ' the day after !

So how many eggs for scrambled egg then for a convalescing dog ?

I tend to give them 2-3 eggs (larger breeds than a Lab). Did you make the scrambled eggs with milk? If so, leave it out next time as lactose intolerance is fairly common in dogs.

No milk used - just over did it on the eggs , she is ok now and less smelly

I would give some chicken and rice, not egg, stinkytastic windypops.
