Anything I can do to help poorly dog?

She's been coughing for a couple of days now, kind of like she's trying to cough up a fur ball. She's off her food too and just generally not herself. Is there anything I can do to ease her cough? I imagine her throat must be really sore

Some parasite lifecycles include lungs. Could be kennel cough if the little fella isn't vaccinated. Time to ask the vet for diagnosis because it's definitely something.

Yes, you can take her to the vet. It could be one of a number of things, none of which any of us can diagnose, none of which a vet can diagnose without seeing her and clearly the poor dog is in some discomfort and unhappy.

Should have said that we do have a vet appointment at 4pm, just wanted to try and make her more comfortable until we've seen the vet.

I hope that the vet will sort it all quickly and without lasting ill effect on pooch.

We have some antibiotics from the vets so hopefully zhe will be feeling better soon. Made her some scrambled egg for tea, I'm usually really strict about her having dog food only but think she deserved a treat.
