My dog is eating crap

And no I don't mean he has a fondness for junk food.

It is disgusting, I have a toddler potty-training at the moment and he had an accident the other day and the dog was straight at it - not sniffing, which I wouldn't bat an eyelid at, but eating. Yuck! We have new chickens and I am pretty sure he licked up one of their runny poos as well. Oh God I am feeling ill just at the thought. I can't bear to have him near me. I have no problem with sniffing. BUT EATING!!!

we have chickens, and three dogs and manage to keep them apart! What about your child it he going to be wading through it when he toddles about? I wouldn't have thought so, so maybe you might manage to keep both the dog and the toddler away from the chicken crap?

and dogs are scavengers, and they eat vile things. Not all dogs, but you are unlucky enough to have one who does. You will need to be more vigilant

or put up with a poo eating dog.

we used to call ralph 'scat puppy'

any poo was a delight to him. some people say its a dietry issue. but i found he just naturally outgrew that stage. he is now on a raw diet and hasnt eaten any poop, his own, or any other creatures for 8months+

We've got a babygate on the bathroom where the cat litter is so that our dog can't get at the cat poo. Vet says it's the equivalent of a yummy chocolate cake for them.

First time he did he he went straight from litter tray to sit by my bed. I was woken up by doggy cat poo breath. It was pretty grim.
