Harley won a rosette at the rescue dog show yesterday!

We didn't think we could enter him in anything that required him to think or do what he was told So the agility and obedience classes were out and we missed all the other novelty classes so he entered the' Dog the judge would most like to take home'. Poor judge was so overwhelmed by the number of little kids holding the leads of their beloved dogs that I think she just threw the rosettes at random dogs.

Anyway Harley came third and has a lovely yellow rosette.

DS1 reckons she was so dazzled by his awesomeness that she made a mistake as clearly he should have come first!

Mine would be no good at agility or anything either (can just imagine him crashing around the course barging straight through any obstacles!) and would be laughed out of a proper pedigree show, but has won 'novelty' categories where he basically just has to sit there and be lovely. All dogs have their talents, even if it's just charming people and being nice!
