Taking puppy out for day

apologies for the dim first time dog owner question!
We have a 16 week old cocker spaniel puppy. She goes on a couple of short walks a day, longest one was last week we were out for 2 hoursbut it was just an amble and swim not solid walking.
Anyhow I have been asked on a day out tomorrow with my DC and asked to bring puppy. We would be going to a country park from 9-2 (so she'd need lunch out) then stop for ice cream on way home so a full day out. Will this be too much for her? There will be lots of sitting around whilst the DCs play and weather is supposed to be quite cool.
Am I just being paranoid puppy owner? I don't want to do anything to make her stressed.

I can't help but I'm sure someone wise will be along soon. I'm watching with interest as our pup is 12 weeks and like you, I'm not sur how much is too much!
