Hound pimped.

Just got my massive order through from AK creations - sooooo impressed with the quality of it, particularly the collars as I've seen some variable quality martingales around. Hound now has a nice velvety tag collar, a swirly martingale (I still like the two collar look) and not the hound collar that was on the smallest setting with a nice huge lump of leather flapping around loose at the end... a fleecy coat in shades of green, a waterproof coat in green and white... and her response to it all - was to lick the coat and then lie on the sofa WITH me (a breakthrough - normally it's HER on the sofa only) and let me fit her collars.

Feel guilty now that Layton hasn't got a new collar - but since he abandoned his in the woods last month and had to get a new one then - serves him right!

Envy I do not have the words to tell you how much I wish AK creations did tigerprint pyjamas for shorter-legged, chunkier, fashion challenged scent hounds.

Email her and ask her? I know she made my coats with a bit of expansion room since the hound was still at racing weight when I took the measurements so she does seem to listen to requests!

Yep you can get greyhound pyjamas! Well the poor mites feel the cold you know!

LOL.

I'm just imagining the response I'd get from my dog if I tried to dress him in PJs :) He is a fluffy spaniel though so doesn't need them, thank god.

Having said that, if I got pyjamas for my dog, she'd just take it as an excuse to stay in them all day and not get up.

Glad Nancy is "pimped" now! You can usually tell a grund by the smart turn out and the fact that the owner usually (certainly in our case) looks considerably more down at heel. Empty - apologies if you are normally a dazzling beacon of stylishness.

We live close to the notorious "no pyjamas" Tesco - Grin - grunds have suggested a Noel Coward style dressing gown and cravat, but I wasn't convinced.

Yep I'm a scruffball and the dogs have more spent on them than I ever spend on my own clothes!

Dog pyjamas! Is there anything you can't buy for dogs these days?

Well we did get a doggy bathrobe for ours to wear after hydrotherapy, so he doesn't get chilled on the short walk to the car Blush.

forget PJs, I'd like a full nose to tail HAZMAT suit to stop him rolling in Unpleasant Things and requiring a bath.
