We have just got back from a week away and had friends look after our dog in their home. He seemed fine when we left him and we called and texted during the week to see how is was. All was well and he settled down fine with them.

We picked him up yesterday and he was very pleased to see us all, however he does seem out of sorts. He is very quite and just not himself. He seems to be sleeping a lot and not really eating.

Is this just a phase from a different routine or should i be worried?

Give him a couple of days and if no change then get him checked.

This can be a bit of seperation anxiety usually though.
My ex rescue dog did it to us last year and as the friends who looked after him would meet us every evening to walk all our dogs he kept thinking I was leaving him with them again. Soft ass dog.

Were there other ogs on your friends house? My dog-boarding friend looks after ours when we go away, and, because all he does is wrestle other dogs while he is there, he comes home and spends a couple of days catching up on his sleep...
