Just found out that one of my fellow rescuers is in hospital, seriously ill.

She is just honestly one of the nicest, kindest, feistiest yet caring ladies I've ever met (and the funniest!). She's adored by a very close family and by all of us rescue volunteers too.

Details haven't been made public yet so I can't say much but just wanted to ask... if you have prayer - or believe in the power of positive thought - it's much needed now please.

Oh heck... I know who it is, too. I don't "know" her but she seems very sweet.

Sending her loads and loads of positive vibes x

Thanks MotherJack. She's a nutter in the nicest sense of the word, very sweet natured, full of fun, will help anyone... it's always the nice people who have so much awful luck isn't it?

And this sudden illness triggered her well-known one to a very serious extent too... :(

Thank you. My friend had investigative treatment today (said it was "bloody awful" bless her, and normally she is so used to hospitals and treatment she shrugs it off) and is feeling better. I pray to goodness she continues to do so, the things that lovely woman and her family have gone through of late are indescribable.
