Help! Chihuahua with broken toes

My MIL accidentally trod on her chihuahua's toes. She spoke to the vet who advised her to bandage the leg and keep him off his foot but she is now very worried that he is in a lot of pain.

Is there something she could give him at home like a small dose of baby paracetamol or ibuprofen (I can give her some of DS's if needs be) or does she have to get the vet out over the weekend for him?

Please do not give either of those your Mums dog both can do serious damage to dogs. I would recommend seeing a vet - some have Saturday evening surgeries or Cheaper rates for Sunday morning appointments. I wouldn't leave the little one without pain relief over the weekend.

It is not my dog. I did not speak to the vet, my MIL did, it is her dog. I wouldn't give anything but told my MIL I would see if there were a vet on here that could suggest anything.
