Dog Rocks

The rocks that go in water that are supposed to help with brown marks on grass. Do they work?

I tried them for a while and it made no difference at all, don't know whether each dog is different but it didn't work for any of my 3.

My dog took them into the garden and dropped them somewhere on the gravel path, never to be seen again.

Oh that is another point I had forgotten, my dogs were forever getting them out of the water bowl and throwing them around in the conservatory!!!
