...when should we start looking? Bearing in mind that I fall in love rather easily when I look at Rescue sites Grin

We're in middle of loft conversion, and then have 2 weeks holiday second half of August...not sure how long whole process takes. Should we look at starting looking in September? Or does it take weeks and weeks?

Building work should be done (bar quieter stuff) by end of August.

Am bouncing on my chair Smile

Elibean - hiya!!!! Still holding out for my perfect doggy too. I am beoming an obesssive stalker of dog rescue sites. From what I have learned, some seem to be rehomed within about 3 - 4 weeks (there seems to be a standard 2 week minimum assesment period with a lot of rescue dogs) but others - like Dog's Trust dogs, can be reserved for what seems like ages! If it were me, I would seriously start looking with about 6 weeks until D Day! Good luck Smile

Hi Smile

Really? In that case, I shall start looking at the beginning of August....we're away last week July, think I can sit on my hands till then!

Thanks 2T, and good luck with your doggy search too x
