puppy has raided fridge...

I musn't have shut fridge properly- puppy has managed to eat a large amount of ham trimmings, and now has a rock hard massive stomach. Should I be concerned? I was going to take her on a walk this evening, but perhaps I shouldn't now? Any advice welcomed!!

What breed of pup? She is probably just over full but you should be aware of the symptoms of bloat as a hard tummy is one of them. It is also a sign of a greedy puppy, so don't rush her off to the vets just yet.

A walk won't hurt, but take extra poop bags

Springer cross- she is bloody greedy! She couldn't finish it all though- thank god because it was a 700g pack! Will try a gentle walk- have pockets full of bags..

Don't worry buggerlugs- I laughed when I saw how sorry for herself she looked!

it would be lovely to say she has learned her lesson but she will probably do it again given half the chance

I should have realised when I gave her a name that means 'gannet' that I was asking for trouble...
