You have made sure he is safe and happy Trinity. He will be okay. The rescue found the right home with you didn't they? They will again.

He wasn't happy and he wasn't safe for reasons out of your control, luckily for Duke you loved him enough to do the right thing for him.

YES! he will be fine. The rescue have a good reputation, their behaviourist will work with him and he will be fostered with a family who can work with him. Sometimes a fresh start is best for everyone concerned.

It takes a brave, selfless person to do what you have done. As I said to you in our pm's you also had to think of yourself and the pressure this was putting on you, pressure which is hard enough at the best of times and you'v had and are having times which are far from happy already.

But you didn't did you lovey? You didn't think of you, just what was best for Duke and by god that's more than most of us could do.

Now please think of YOU. You've done the best thing for Duke... now YOU need to be kind to yourself too. That means please, please, stop beating yourself up and believe me when I say that you're one remarkable, brave lady.

Take some time to spoil yourself and the girls, be kind to yourself and take care.

I still keep thinking 'wheres duke' but I believe in the rescue centre and they were very kind to me and duke yesterday
