There will be lots of pics. I'm very excited. I hope my own mutts don't get too excited though and show themselves up like they did when the homecheckers came. Two lovely women who smelt of lots of different dogs and they had treats and they wanted to fuss them. It was far too much for them and all their training went out of the window. Even the whippy one forgot she is not actually allowed to stand on the dining table Shock

Roar at the levitating whippet Grin

Oooooh, now I;m excited too. Want pics. Want to hear how soon it is before they colonise furniture, and start doing greyhound yoga.

chickchickchicken · 30/06/2011 12:06

the Whippy one was anything other than perfectly behaved Shock Grin

pics and more info asap please!

DooinMeCleanin · 30/06/2011 12:11

Yes it's shocking isn't it? It actually occured to Whippy to do something! Shock. It didn't last long, she escaped the house later that day and sat on the doorstep looking rather bemused before deciding she best go back to her bed incase something exciting happened again Grin

I showed DH pictures of greyhounds sleeping when he declared they were too big for our house. He doesn't believe they actually sleep like that.

I'm jealous... I want a greyhound shaped sofa-hog :(

(STILL waiting)

DooinMeCleanin · 30/06/2011 16:39

I am still waitng. She got held up and now I have to wait until 6pm.

It's not fair!

Elibean · 30/06/2011 18:13

Is she there? Is she there?

DooinMeCleanin · 30/06/2011 18:14

No. Not here yet.

AllTheYoungDoods · 30/06/2011 18:21

My dog sleeps like a greyhound - on his back, head on a cushion/lolling over the side of the sofa, legs akimbo ginormous bollocks on display. Only thing is he's a 30kg doodle! Takes up an entire friggin' sofa!

chickchickchicken · 30/06/2011 20:59

is she there yet?

DooinMeCleanin · 30/06/2011 21:56

She's here! My god they're chilled out dogs aren't they? So long as she has sofa space she is happy. No piccies yet I'm afraid. My Dad's world has ended his PC is broke and I must go and help him piece his life back together before it implodes completely Grin, but I'll be back with pics soon.

She is gorgeous. Like a giant Whippy. DH who did not want to foster a dog is already calling her baby waby 2 Hmm

I want one!!! NOW!!!!! bit big for my house though. Happy days Dooin Grin

Scuttlebutter · 30/06/2011 23:21

I want piccies!! This is so unfair (Scuttle channels her inner teenager) - you are making us wait. We want greyhound gorgeousness and we want it now. Along with the finest wines known to humanity, but that's another story.

Actually, am really glad she's settled and comfy on the sofa. Grin

emptyshell · 01/07/2011 06:23

OH! She's so big and gorgeous (and sleepy, my perfect vision of a dog Grin)!

Your dd is gorgeous and sleepy-looking too Smile

And Whippy One looks sweeeeet.....Wink

How was the night?

emptyshell · 02/07/2011 12:26

I want one!

(Couple of weeks or so apparently... believe it when I see it)

They look like Little and Large!

DooinMeCleanin · 02/07/2011 13:52

She is excellent during the night. She settles herself on her duvet and sleeps until you get up. She is very clean.

neglects to mention her duvet is kept in the bedroom
