Flipping dogs! They never seem to need the vet during working hours.
I dropped a bottle of salad dressing on the kitchen floor earlier and stupidly let the dog start licking it up, not realising the bottle had broken until I picked it up. She has cut her tongue badly on a piece of glass and has had to be left at the vet to have it stitched. 
Luckily they only have to sedate her, she doesn't need a GA.
Pointless post really, but I hate leaving dogs at the vets. I just want to bring her home and cuddle up with her.
