why are vets so expensive?

Two dogs boosters and one Large dog worming tablet £88!
Why are these necessary vaccinations so expensive?

We pay monthly for our boosters, flea and worming treatment. It's £10.50 a month which I think is quite reasonable actually when the flea stuff alone is bloody expensive.

We also get one vet visit included in that price.
