I know your not far from me, I won a hamper full of dog food, and some of it is not what he eats, can you make use of it?

Crikey, certainly we can! Thank you!

If I can get my own dogs' noses out of it for long enough to hand it over :o then I'm very sure that the dogs and owners of Poplar Farm Rescue Kennels would appreciate it (even more than my "we're never fed, honest Guv, let me put my big nose in that food hamper" canine dustbins!).

Thank you so much. I'm stuck without transport but the rescue owner visits fairly frequently so could ask him to pop by (though tomorrow's visit to deliver Fish's medication will be a quick one, on a motorbike, the nutcase!). Otherwise will ask one of the other volunteers to pop by at your convenience.

But, more importantly... crutches? What on earth have you done you poor soul?

I feel down the stairs on thursday. Poor dog having to wait for dh for walks.
I dont mind driving it in once im better.
It kinda finished off my week of hell tbh. DH cancer appointment, dd1 physio assessment and dd2 diagnosised with autism. :(

lisa - what an awful week you've had. re dd2 with autism, its very early days for you but there are a few of us in the doghouse with kids with asd. the children with special needs section on here is usually very supportive and informative. when you feel up to it maybe you would like to have a look? most parents say the adjustment period following diagnosis is very hard emotionally so try to be kind to yourself

Vallhala · 21/05/2011 11:21

You poor love... so sorry it's been so hellish for you. :( Wish I could do something to help.

Will sort out your kind offer when you and your family are feeling up to it, no rush is there? Thank you for your kindness. And, as Chick has said, be kind to yourself too.
