My dh found a dog yesterday

It was really bedraggled running around by the side of the road. He took it to his mother's and took it to the vet this morning. Luckily it was microchipped and the vet managed to contact the owner.

She was a very beautiful young golden lab and we were very disappointed to see her go especially as neither dog nor owner looked pleased to see each other - she had been missing for two days! Hmm

We had been secretly hoping that she was a stray and we could keep her.

aww. I hope the owner takes care not to let the dog out again, sounds like she had a lucky escape to have not been hurt especially as she had been missing for 2 days.

Was a very major road too. Think she is a gamekeepers dog.

She was very lovely :)

The vet didn't give us the number but dh remembers the name so might try to see if we can contact them.

What lovely kind people you are. Shame about the owner though. Some people don't deserve pets

Thanks. We even bought her a collar so we could take her out on the lead Blush

She was very scared of bangs so prob gun-shy
