Minimum age to consider kennels

Just researching getting a puppy. I'd therefore kind of written off going away in August, but IF we were to get one late May/early June, when might it be old enough to possibly go to a kennel for a week?

Some kennels won't take them until they are 6 months. We had this when we tried to put ours in the first time, so you may have to look at a few first.
