oh dear.

Ralph was whining to go out at 2am this morning, which is unusual. later on at 7.30 i let him out again and i noticed it was diahorrea and there was red blood in it.

he has been seen at the vets this morning, has been jabbed, had his butt inspected (he was not impressed), temp taken, and given an almost clean bill of health. he has a slight temp but aside from that, he seems well.

he isnt allowed to eat today, (that will be fun) but is allowed plenty of fluids. inc tea with sugar. he will be in doodle-heaven as loves a good cuppa.

am hoping he perks up soon, and his tummy is better, because as much of a pain he is and disobient, steals my shoes, tries to race me down the stairs, i do love him. he is my scruff-bag and so cute.

he seems to have recovered well. istaking his doggy version of dialyte well and is back to mischeif.

am not going to walk him today/tomorrow as aware he could be infectious still if its something nasty and dont want to make other dogs ill.

but by friday am hoping he is up for jumping in the stream!

Awwww bless him. More likely to be something he's eaten than a bug.
Synyster was puking for England when he caught a bug.
Still didn't stop him from inhaling his food when he was allowed it.

We just collected our doodle from the dog sitter after being away for nearly 3 weeks - she bounded in and had a huge bought of diahorrea o the lawn (whihch she has never even weed on before!!) an furiuos - DH has been told to get over the jetlag and take her for a walk to try nd get her to mess the rest out - either that or the dog sitter who is so attached to her can have her back AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

Don't think it is a bug but I do feel for you doggie wet poo is vile vile stuff isn;t it!
