Keep reading about vitamins or supplements for dogs - eg glucosamine to help with joints etc. Can anyone advise or if they do give their dog supplements - what dose etc and can you use ordinary supermarket ones

thanks :)

We give ours a glucosamine/chondroitin syrup and cod-liver oil capsules (he 7 and has a bit of mild arthritis), just ordinary 'human' stuff from Boots, we put it in his bowl with his dinner.

Always check with your vet before giving anything new though, in case there's some reason yours shouldn't have certain things. They should be able to advise the right dosage for the dog's size as well.
