After seeing them at Crufts have just ordered whippy boy a Tuffie Nest.

I know the price is very Shock but I did a lot of e-baying to raise money to spend at Crufts and it is coming out of that.

Super excited to get it, they are fantasticGrin.

Not spoilt Grin just making sure they are warm and cosy. Looks lovely. And am sure will last for years so really is an "Invest to Save" purchase..... she says, whistling hopefully.... Wink

Scuttlebutter I knew you would understandWinkGrin

I have read review from people saying they have had Tuffies for 8 years plus that still look brand new, so I think it is indeed and 'Invest to Save' purchase (great phrase btw, can see me using that alot to dh).

I am stunned by ninja whippy though, the purchase of new bed was mainly spurred by his old bed getting rather small and him spending an increasing amount of time sleeping with us and recently spending the whole night stretching and generally being as irritating as possible, when sent back to his bed he would just stand over it looking sad and sighing as if to say 'this tiny thing, really? I couldn't possibly'.

Last night after ordering the super duper Tuffie he slept the whole night in his own bed Hmm

Did he hear me make the phone call, read the e-mail? It's like he decided his work is done, new bed on the way, may as well catch up with some zzz's now Grin.

Well, he is a ninja whippy, so intercepting comms would be right up his street.. Grin

Am loving the mental pic of him doing his drama queen act over the too small bed. I always associate ours with the Princess and the Pea story - am convinced that could be rewritten to feature a sighthound.

Am also chuckling at the "unfolding by stealth" - that special talent they have where they start off curled up in a nice tidy ball and half an hour later you've got a great big hound foot digging in your kidney, you are somehow clinging to the edge of the bed and where DH used to be, is a whiskery face with rather long teeth.
