Why does my Staffy vomit after eating?

IN the last week my precious Staffy has started vomiting a few hours after eating.
We had a chat with the vet who said it was probably a dislike/intolerance to something in his food.

He's now back on Orijin (pricey but good stuff) with a bit of rice to settle the stomach and that seems to have worked.

Problem is he'll now vomit his usual treats. He is partial to sausages and doesn't turn them down.

He's not ill in any sense. Still barking at the cats sitting on the shed roof, chasing the doodle around, stealing the socks from the washing basket!!

Why now and what can I give him as treats?

How old? Vomiting before this episode at all in the past? Is the food coming back up or just fluid? If food is it a pile or is it coming back as a sausage shape of food? Any diarrhoea?

May well be the food triggered it and the old food is a better plan. The treats may be coming back just now because his tummy is not totally settled from the original upset.
