Dog snoring all the time...

My 3yo lab has recently started to snore quite a lot, but not just when she is sleeping, also when she is awake and lying/sitting around...

Do dogs get the equivalent of a cold? She is quite happy, exercising and eating completely normally, no signs of being under the weather and I do not want to take her to the vet unless it's desperate because it is an ordeal for all concerned....

It doesn't bother any of us and with no outward signs of illness, my instinct says just to leave well alone.

So just interested for any feedback/similar experiences as to whether this could be a sign of something that needs sorting out... eg. doggy equivalent of adenoids problems or whatever.

Mine snores so loudly he wakes me up! And sometimes when he is lying down but awake. Have never noticed it when he is sitting though, that would be unusual I think?
