furminator or furminator deluxe?

and why are they £40 in petshop and £18 on amazon!
I have a husky type dog...inuit, she doesn't shed that much but have heard they are great, and the brush I have doesn't seem to do that much.

They are even cheaper on ebay, so check there before you order.

I to have heard they are very good and plan to get one, thought my doggy its still just a pup but once he starts to moult i shall be investing in one :)

I must say I'm not a fan, they do remove lots of hair but also seem to cut the top layer of the coat as well as the undercoat, if you used it very often or harshly you could really ruin the coat (especially on a double-coated breed like a husky x).

An undercoat rake is just as effective and leaves the guard hairs intact.

undercoat rake? What's that then? That was my fear about the furminator...don't want to damage her coat.
