We went to look at a few rescue homes today. Wanted to get a cocker/sprocker/springer spaniel. Didn't expect to find one today but we have put our names down for a gorgeous 1 year old ESS. The rescue centre are coming on Thursday to do a home check and to make sure the dog doesn't want to eat our cats.

Can't wait to have a dog again - not had one since well before DS was born (and he's nearly 5).

We've been and bought a ball today so that DS can give it to the dog (the rescue centre is bringing him with them on Thursday to make sure he is ok with the cats).

I just hope everything is ok.
