i followed a link, i think posted by val on another thread to find my local rescue. the only one listed on it was Assisi in bangor. i am no use at all to it as it is too far for me to offer any assitance. but i was wondering if either of you through your contacts are aware of any rescues nearer to downpatrick, co.down.

Im afraid I'm not much use, NI isn't somewhere I'm well acquainted with (shame, I just melt at a fella with a Belfast accent!) but I bet you Midori will know. I'll ask around but I reckon she'll get there first and be a lot more help! :)

In what way were you wanting to help? If it's a case of dropping things up there, I can run them up for you. Assisi has a good reputation and I am happy to support them.

yes midori, just dropping things up as and when i have them. i am having a clear out and tehy are more than welcome to anything i no longer use. apart from blankets and bedding, do you know what else they might be needing?
