I know there are a few 'bad' companies out there so who would you please recommend?

We have been insured with Sainsburys for a long time and have been very happy with them. We've made a couple of small claims and our vets are always happy for us to pay the excess and they claim the rest back from Sainburys.

I can tell you NOT to go with E&L. They are charlatans who NEVER pay out

midori1999 · 28/12/2010 21:38

I agree with the above, heard lots of horror stories.

I can only praise Axa - 3 cats and 2 dogs insured with them and no issues

NewYearNewKnickersOnMyHead · 28/12/2010 21:40

E&L?

Have done a comparison and sainsbos hasn't come up on it.

What about 'animal friends, feel good insurance'?

Believe it or not Argos and I did a fair amount of research....

Been with petplan for years and have no quibble with them - all claims paid out efficiently and directly to vet
