My 6 month puppy is not herself right now. Monday she had to stay over at friends as we were all stuck in the central belt motorway. Poor soul never made it back until lunch the next day. She was very quiet when she returned, off her food and seemed a bit constipated. She was also a wee bit clingy- put it down to the change in routine. She also stank to the high heaven. Yesterday she was still tired, had a wee bit of loose stools but nothing major. And even smellier.
Today she seemed so much better. We took her a walk, she was playful and ate her lunch. We gave her a wee bath and brush but she still smells really bad.
Is she sick? coming into season? or am I just being PFB?

Has she rolled in something? Sometimes the smell lingers even if you can't see the evidence? I use normal (human) shampoo and a hose when mine does this.

Do bitches get anal gland problems or is that just boy dogs?

Thanks for answering.
I used shampoo but it was a bath in my big sink. Grimma I put porridge in dogs food to help her along. I should take her to the vets but we are snowed in. She has pooed normally today.but her white coat has a pink tinge.

If she still smells, I'd take her to the vet. I've noticed that my dogs only ever smell if they have an infection of some sort.

What sort of smell is it?
