Muck boot welly help neede

Finally decided on muck boots after my crappy Hunters developed a hole. They have arrived, but I'm not sure about the sizing.

My Hunters were a 5 and I could wear 2 pairs of socks in them. My muck boots are a 5, but on the left foot my toes are very close to the end. There is no way my right foot could take a 6. If i wear one sock on my left they feel roomy everywhere apart from my big toe which hits the end sometimes. Apart from that they feel lovely.

Will I regret if if I keep them? i need a test dog walk, but obviously can't return them then!

Any advice?

How about trying a different make? If your toe touches the end that could hurt when you walk quickly. Not having 2 pairs of socks could get cold

Every pair of bloody boots/wellies I buy develop a split just over the knuckle of my left toe. My lovely Hunters have done it, and every pair of muckers/muck boots I have ever owned. Why is that?

Can't you go to a shop and try a pair on before buying online? I wouldn't want my toe touching the end.

Hmm. I've got no welly shops near me. I've already bought them online. I tried them on today and wandered around the sitting room. They might be ok....but there again might not!

Wellies are always a problem. I have very narrow feet and the slip around like anything in wellies.
