Do you/will you leave heating on for your dog?

Currently I have mine with me 95% of the time - but am wondering now that it's getting colder - she may not enjoy being in the boot of my car and might leave her at home if I'm goin to be out and about for a long time.

But my house is blooming freezing - should I leave the heat on low? or will she be fine snuggled up in my bloody duvet??

Like Batteryhuman I have a lab and a spaniel who will still swim in this weather. The heating is always on indoors but if I am going out they go out to their outdooor kennel which is well insulated and has a cosy area with a raised bed filled with straw and vet bed as wellas an outside area. They snuggle up together and never seem cold. They are both young dogs though (3 and 4). At night they sleep in the house but if DH had his way they would always sleep out but I think that's a bit mean Wink
