my dog was hit by a car...

she seems ok in herself but has a few cuts and grazes.

should i put any type of antispetic stuff on them?

have vets appt to get her checked this evening. i cant take her any earlier as she weighs an absolute tonne and i'm 36 wks pg. ( she doesn't enjoy the car ride/vet visit at the best of times)

or should i just let her clean them up herself?

im not sure about putting antiseptic on her , unless its one you have for animals.(from vet)
Some can be toxic to them.

You can use Savlon on dogs. My vet reccomends it when The Devil Dogs has sore feet/skin patches.

thanks both, have cleaned her up a bit with water and she is now wrapped up in a blanket relaxing.

one paw looks a tiny bit swollen but she is walking on it ok.

Hope she is okay. Bet it was a very scary moment. Hope you are okay too, it can effect us when something bad happens to our pets.
