May be a bit of a daft question, but ds2 (2.9yo) has just let the dog lick his tongue (ds was eating peanut butter!) Hmm,dog is due worming this week, do I need to worm child too? (with human wormer obvs!)

no, you dont, not unless your dog or child has worms.

That made me laugh, it wont be the first time or last something like this happens.

When my DS now 11 was around 10 months old we went to a friends house and he was crawling around the floor, before I knew it he was in the dogs bed and had his marrow bone in his mouth. No ill effects and all is well with him some 10 years on.

thanks Jax! Wormed dog anyway this week. will examine ds's bum with a torch tonight [grim]

this is nothing however compared to the dog licking ds's shitty bum the other day when I was changing his nappy, I only looked away for a few seconds and he was in there. ds loved it Blush

Not the same sort of worms are they?

JaxTellersOldLady · 26/11/2010 12:03

oh joosey that is funny... gross but funny at the same time. Dogs love a shitty nappy, I lost count the amount of time I would change a nappy and the dog raided the bin and scoffed the lot. I only knew because the gel stuff that soaks up the wee used to burn his nose!

Dogs are really grim beasties.
