Have you let him go out and get a bit chilly? Then put the coat on him, maybe even warm it a bit on the radiator so that he feels the warmth.

Our dog wasn't keen to start with but likes her coats now.

Is he currently a teenager? If he is don't waste your energy Wink

TheLogLady · 20/11/2010 12:11

he doesn't seem to care if it's chilly. he's 2 and a bit so maybe just beeing a teeager still (or a bit thick)

or both????

Perhaps he's just a "hot" canine, just like some people are "hot" and others feel the cold?

MmeLindt · 20/11/2010 12:19

cargirl
You missed a trick there for a "hot dog" joke

Do you think he feels the cold? Does he shiver?

TheLogLady · 20/11/2010 12:21

he shivvers when he comes in and runs around being mental sliding on floor until he's warmed up but doesn't look cold when he's out. but ike i said - he is a bit dim.

Can I have him?

Try a jumper in house to see if he gets used to it?

MmeLindt · 20/11/2010 12:43

Aw, bless.

You probably need a cashmere jumper, so light that he hardly feels it. :o
