How to deal with snapping pup?

My generally lovely,American bulldog pup has been snapping since we got him. It tends to be in play,but not always,and we'd like to deal with it,normal as it may be.

I'd appreciate any advice on the best way(s) to handle this. He only does it at home with members of the family.
