Soft Poo ( TMI Alert sorry!)

Hi. Hoping some "poo savvy" mners can help me. We have had our rescue Springer for almost 2 months. He is somewhere between 18 mos and 2 years of age. Apart from a tapeworm infestation which we treated, he is in great health. However, for as long as we have had him he has had soft poos. They are "formed" rather than blobs, but soft enough to always leave smears on the pavement and quite messy to pick up.

Initially, we thought it was a change of diet. We gradually introduced him to the food our other dog is eating - James Wellbeloved Ocean Fish & Rice - when we got him. He has been on this food alone for a month now and no improvement. My collies have always had well-formed poos, so I'm not really sure why his are different. Is it something to be concerned about?

Thank you for getting this far!

wood sorry I can't be of much help, unless he is getting too much food, apparently this sometimes this happens.

Our collie had trouble with soft poo/diarrhoea at times, the vet recommended James Wellbeloved and it's helped a lot. I can still tell when she's stolen something from the bin/floor etc.
