Tom is sitting in his crate.

Ralph i peering round the living room door, like he is staring Tom out.

Tom comes bounding over to ralph and ralph hides

They are funny creatures aren't they.
Took mine to the allotment this afternoon and she went berserk. DP had to go round covering up dog footprints where she had had a mad five minutes over all the beds...
I had no idea allotments were so stimulating to the canine mind.
What are yours up to now?

still playing hide and seek with each other.

And ralph is looking at the sofa with longing. but he isnt allowed up.

I hate to imagine the havoc my dog would get up to if she had a playmate.

oh, they are hard work together, but so rewarding as well.
