The doghouse

If you're worried about your pet's health, please speak to a vet or qualified professional.

If you have a dog give it a little hug , too easily taken for granted and leave a big hole when they are taken away

Our 10 year old dog passed away very suddenly on Thursday afternoon and we are devestated.
She was our baby until the 3 kids came along and sadly took a back seat from then never bothering.
She was a lovely natured girl and has left a huge space in our lives.
I just asked the kids what they would do tonight if they could do anything and they said hug her , take her for a walk and give her a carrot (she loved them)
I don't think any of us realised how big a part of our family she was Sad

My heart is with you LilyLoo. I have three dogs and have lost much loved dogs over the years - I know how much it hurts.

Your little girl was loved, making you and your family special. Hang on to that thought.

Val x

Am very sorry for you & your family, Lilyloo. It's true - we all take our lovely dogs for granted. Hope you are all okay x

Very sorry to hear your dog has passed away. It has brought tears to my eyes reading what your children said.

We lost our very much loved puppy in may when he was 7 months old. We still cry for him now even though it's been 4 months. We even got a new puppy 4 weeks ago yet we still miss our other puppy. The love we share with our dogs/pets is very, very strong.

You must remember the good times you shared. Those memories will make you sad right now but they will keep her memory alive for you all x

I'm so sorry LilyLoo. What a terrible shock for you all. It will get easier and eventually you'll be able to think about her and smile.

I am so sorry. She sounds a lovely dog and such a character eating carrots.

so sorry to hear this Lilyloo, I lost my GSD last May and it is heartbreaking. We all miss him still, and we have another dog and a new puppy on the way. It gets easier with time, that age old cliche, but it must be such a shock. I will snuggle my dog and give him a kiss from you.
