We have a 17wk old puppy and we live in a bungalow. Our puppy snores so loudly, its keeping me awake. Anyone else had this problem and come up with remedies? Does it mean she has a problem? Have tried closing doors etc but its that loud, cant put in ear plugs as have young children.... DP happy he's not in the doghouse for snoring for once:) She's otherwise fantastic at night.....

What breed is it? Dogs with scrunched up/flat faces are very prone to this.

It depends on the reason he is snoring TBH. It could possibly be a medical reason or allergies. If it is that the vet can help.

If it isn't a medical reason then one thing I have noticed is my dog tends to snore when he is sleeping stretched out but not when he is curled up. He has a round bed and he never snores when he sleeps in that as it encourages him to curl up. Maybe that can help? It really does work well with mine (though he is not a loud or particularly frequent snorer).

If the puppy is a bit congested then a humidifier can help to open up the airways and help prevent snoring.
