Okay, own up, which one of you took my dog?

And trained him leave so well that he will leave the most exciting thing in the world, ever!?

One of you did. It wasn't me. I have only practised leave with soft toys, not real, live, talking parrots, who he only sees occasionally.

Devil dog just laid down at my mums, whose house he has been banned from due to behaving like an eejit around the parrot. He actually laid down! And then slept for about 15 minutes, even with the bird clacking his cage to draw attention to itself. Although when the bird upped his game and started shouting 'dog' at him it got a bit much for him. But the improvement is massive.

So who was it?

I think I can manage leave from here. He was much more manageable. Could you work on getting him to stop chasing the cat for me? TIA.

He needs to be checked out by your vet. As does any dog with such a sudden and unexplained change in behaviour. Please get him there straight away.

Rofl. How fab. Love the image of the parrot saying 'Dog'. Well done, you guys Wink

It wasn't me!

I trained the parrot!:o

ShinyAndNew · 16/09/2010 09:33

Well some has had him. He even went to bed last night on his own with no growling or coercion and stayed there with no barking and minimal whining!

All we need to do now is work on everything else. Although his walking on lead has improved loads too. I think I might finally be getting through to him.

You trained the parrot Vall? I have been trying to do that for years but he usually just tells me to 'be quiet' that bird has an attitude problem. I swear he knows what he is saying and means it Grin
