So, she is a girl, I like 2 syllable names - although wont rule anything out. She is all black if that helps.

We dont have a short list but Tenka, Oreo, Calypso as a few tiny examples, names are running through all of our heads and the kids have some crackers - although not something I want to shout in the park... flapjack???

Oh funny! For some reason I had assumed she was a labrador, based on nothing at all.

Re Guinness - how about Lulu Guinness, or Daphne Guinness, to make it more feminine...

My other shepherd is called Louis, so cant use lulu.

On a more serious note... Ebony? Sable? Raven? Ember? Cinder? (Smut?!!)

Black German Shepherd = Kohler of course! And when I have one that's what he/she shall be named.

I quite fancy another two, to add to the 2 Sheps and black Lab I have here... a long haired black GSD called Kohler and another long haired white GSD called Polar! :o

Val, Kohler and Polar would be fab names.

My DS said this morning "Why dont we call her Violet?" I mean WTF???? Violet

and I said I liked Skye and DD said Skyball! yeah lets call her skyball, like Eyeball!

yes, I do have wacky kids, especially DD, pretty sure she is going to end up some kind of arty crafty/designer type career or a hippy.

Cant wait to get her, they are moving around now, a day or two and they will be steady on their feet. Eyes are open and they stink of puppyness, I love it!
