Morning.

I'm just starting this before the last one fills up.

Morning.

Well it's still chilly so I'm abandoning breakfast altogether to make shepherd's pie, with peas, carrots and sweetcorn baked in.

Florence is making orange sponge pudding and Fernando has a selection of cask ales.

Obviously other things scan be cooked to order.

Orange sponge pudding sounds fab - and virtually a portion of fruit

ScottBakula · 16/01/2024 03:29

I haven't had shepherd's pie for ages, can I have a pack up please.
I don't think I have ever had orange sponge before so can I have some and a pint of Newcastle brown ale.

sashh · 16/01/2024 03:49

IRL it is fab, my council's meals on wheels serve it.

No problem with a pack up, I'll put it all in an eskie with a heat pad so it will still be hot when you get to it.

@sashh would Florence do me a cheese toastie do you think?
I just fancy one

sashh · 16/01/2024 05:41

@Tilllly not a problem, cheddar so or would you like something else?

ScottBakula · 16/01/2024 06:33

It's proper comfort food isn't it.
Irl it's snowing here only a few inches so far but it looks like it's here for aa while

MinnieMountain · 16/01/2024 06:38

That’s nice @ScottBakula . I haven’t opened my shutters yet and I have a cat on me but it’s forecast to be sunny.

sashh · 16/01/2024 07:11

No snow here but it's very cold

Tilllly · 16/01/2024 07:13

Cheddar would be lovely ☺️ thank you

Would you judge me if I asked for HP sauce?

We are snow-free here ❄️ not like Yorkshire!!!

MinnieMountain · 16/01/2024 07:22

Add custard (essential for me) and it has all the food groups @Tilllly .

Tilllly · 16/01/2024 07:25

@MinnieMountain #soulsisters ☺️😁

lovinglaughingliving · 17/01/2024 02:43

Morning all,
Whose awake?

MinnieMountain · 17/01/2024 04:42

Morning @lovinglaughingliving are you still around? I’ll put the coffee pot on.

negronicake · 17/01/2024 04:44

Not been here before! I like a 24hr cafe

sashh · 17/01/2024 06:41

Morning.

Sorry I'm late but it looks like things are under control.

I think I set some spotted dick to steam overnight, it should be ready now, with custard of course.

Florence has some cinnamon rolls in the oven and Fernando is making a mulled spiced wine.

OP posts:
Tilllly · 17/01/2024 07:36

@negronicake welcome 🤗

Cafe, farm... oh the delights that unfold here whilst MN sleeps

negronicake · 18/01/2024 03:49

a farm?! Nice
I was invited to a coffee farm in Colombia recently maybe that’s in better keeping with my current timings

negronicake · 18/01/2024 03:58

do you do homemade bagels?

Tilllly · 18/01/2024 05:23

But of course!

Bacon and egg t'other morning

sashh · 18/01/2024 06:43

Morning.

A farm? Do you meant the petting zoo?

Well for a change lets have meatballs, Italian, kofte, spicy, Chinese and of course Swedish with all the trimmings to go with them, sauces, chutneys and pickles.

Florence is making some lemon cakes and Fernando is making Grog, not sure what that is but it sounds interesting.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 18/01/2024 09:11

Good morning all, welcome to the café @negronicake .
@sashh , please can I have kofte with a side of spicey tomato chutney.

I have put out a few buckets of warm bram mash with molasses for the animals to help themselves to.

sashh · 18/01/2024 09:24

Not a problem @ScottBakula
