I'm just starting this before the last one fills up.

@PeopleAreWeird nothing counts in the cafe, so indulge. I can’t actually eat eggs first thing.

Well it's an early start for me so I think we need some spice.

Puris and chapatis with salted yoghurt and mango chutney.

Dosa, spiced scrambled egg, Idil and onion bhajis.

Florence is making apricot pastries and Fernando is making a lasi based cocktail.

Hello everyone.
Just checking in so I can give you all a bit of a laugh, because if you don't laugh you cry!
I made it to the UK.

We did but it was a journey from hell. Plane and everything was okay. Then we got a little bus to the car hire place, DS6&4 went off to the men’s toilets to put their pjs on and when they had been ages, I went in. DS6 was sobbing saying he’d had bad tummy (not unusual when he travels!) all in his pants and the toilet but there was no paper to wipe his bum… DS4 was gagging at the smell! Then I go into the next door toilet and DS4 has been sick all over the floor because of the smell🤯 Then I drove 2.5hrs back to my mums, driving conditions were horrific. I couldn’t really see anything because of the wet weather. But we made it! Boys slept in the car on the way but as a consequence were really hard to settle when we got here. I don’t think DS4 went to sleep till nearly 2am in the end!
I’m absolutely knackered!! 😴

I think a simple 'things on toast' is in order.

Florence is making a variety of breads and I'm prepping cheeses, beans, spaghetti (tinned) avocado, eggs and of course jam and marmalade.

Fernando iss making a whisky and marmalade cocktail.

Morning all. If i bring some decent gluten free bread and eggs, seem to have a surplus, can someone poach me a couple please-im useless. I'll sit apart as feeling off.

No problem with poaching eggs. Do you want hen's or duck's?

I’ve got some catching up to do as I was nil by mouth all day yesterday. All well today thankfully.

I love poached eggs but I am hopeless at cooking them to so I use them. I have got ones very similar to number 2.

Thank you @ScottBakula I have a lovely DH who has fed me well. Lots of protein, salmon and pasta for supper, and a fair ration of cake too. He’s a keeper!

Well I was thinking Japan for today's breakfast and that weems to link well to @TopOfTheCliff 's husband's offerings.

So grilled fish of choice, steamed rice and miso soup.

Florence is a bit upset because she has Japanese bread, in a tin, so she is opening tins and swearing in French.

Fernando is making saki cocktails.

Think I'll go to macdonalds...
