I woke in a panic from a horrible nightmare
One of those that the events are innocuous but randomly carry sinister meanings. Utterly petrified that I left a dress in a hotel wardrobe and had to go back for it

I've got to meet them again next week.
I have accepted the new job too so hopefully checks etc are in process

What is next weeks meeting for?

apparently not.
I have said that I don't want to go either, but I seem to have little choice given the way they have treated me, that I CANNOT work back in that team for the sake of my mental health. So they either need to find me a different role or... I have to go.
She said she didn't think I would have to work my notice or pay my relocation back but she will confirm next week.

I have been awake since 2am. I have indigestion type pain but as I also have dodgy ticker I am trying not to think the worse ( I am not pale and clammy - just upper epigastric and back pain.)
I am already on meds for reflux but I have had a couple of rennies

I need to sleep as we are visiting my parents today - it's a bit of a drive but I need to see them. Mum has dementia and I know our visits are precious to her and dad.

My pillow is annoying me too - I can hear my bloody heartbeat and every movement I make in it!

@lovinglaughingliving , that sounds like good news esp not having to repay the relocation fee.
It sounds like a fresh start at a new job would be good for you and your mental health.

@ColinRobinsonsFart , My DB has heart problems and gets trapped wind , he has scared himself and me a few times ! His usual cure is a teaspoon of bicarb in warm water .
I hope you are feeling better now and things go well with your vist.

@sashh how are you feeling now are you fully recovered?

@Tilllly I hate them kind of nightmares , I use to have nightmares quite often, I'd wake up panicking and really confused it could take me a good 15 minutes to calm down and relax but even then I'd still think about it during the day and it would unsettle me so the following night could be a bad one to.

It's cold again so I'm going to make nasi goreng. Florence is making chocolate tarts and Fernando is hiding the booze from Leo.

The kittenbees are no longer hiding from Leo but they are ow dive bombing him.

I slept here last night at DSs wedding
V comfortable bed but so high, practically had to be hoiked up 😂

Tried a milky drink? In the hospice we have an amazing light projectors that play that very lulling music, each time I have sat with someone at night time on nights I am sure I will be asleep before them 😂 highly recommend!
I am awake because DS6 is in here with his feet against my back 🙄 flipping kids, lucky they're cute!

Wow it's busy here.

OK I'm going to make camomile tea, sometimes it helps with sleep, I'm not a fan of milk either, well it isn't a fan of me so a bit of soya milk with water to make cocoa.

For when people wake up I'll just do toast with cheese or jam or marmalade.

Florence is making hazelnut cake, it goes well with warm drinks and Fernando will add a wee dram to anyone's camomile tea.

@Tilllly Congratulations for your son. Please tell me Daisy was there.
