I've asked Florence to do French toast, crumpets and pikelets for breakfast, with various toppings
Marmite (obviously) cheese, butter and cherry jam - let her know if you want something else on
Plus a big fruit salad with melons, blueberries, pineapple, kiwi, cherries and oranges
There's various flavoured yoghurt if you want it

Sorry I've been away in the Big Smoke with DS6 and returned home v v weary last night, but we had a great time!
In other news, I have a new job - yay! Just need to negotiate my notice period from my old job (they're total knobs who suspended me last year even though they had ZERO evidence and i had done nothing wrong and they put me through THREE months of sheer hell where they cut my off from everyone then just expected me to go back with 4 days notice, no phased return etc and I haven't had so much as an apology!!!) I've tried going back, lasted 3 days and my mental health fell off a cliff. They won't let me have any reasonable adjustments for my ASD despite me asking and asking.
So I just want to go now, but knowing what I know, I doubt they will make it easy for me.
Let's wait and see.

On Tuesday I got told I was been made redundant, it was completely out of the blue I am really struggling to get my head around it.

I have to start looking for a new job , writing cvs and cover letters, something I have not done for about 20 years .

I need a big fry up and coffee so there is alsorts of sausages , black pudding, beans , tomatoes, bacon , eggs which ever way you like them , fried mushrooms , hash browns, toast and of course tea and coffee.

Fernando is making me a large whisky mac while my pint of Guinness is settling.

I don't know how much my pay out will be yet , it's complicated as I have been in the industry for 12 years , I have been Tupe'd four times ( Inc to this new shower of shite less than a month ago that are making me redundant) and my contract has changed drastically 4 times but my contract hasn't change at the same time as I have been Tupe'd, its been changed months / years into the take over.
Somehow I have to remember all them dates !

The new company have told me I can't take time off work as they need me to cover other staff , that is my job , I cover staff when they are off so how the hell will they do it when I'm gone .

ARGGGG.

My union are looking into it and yes you are right I need to get to the jobcentre to see if they can help with any benefits, cv , cover letter and anything else.

Hold out for as much money as you can get - they might cave just to get rid of you

Spk to HR about a reference too

Job centre plus - you need an appointment usually, but they're actually pretty good with redundancy apparently

Go asap, I don't think benefits get backdated
And whilst you're unemployed, look at what else you can get, I dunno, prescriptions, bus pass etc
